BONER was a free, ad-funded magazine for adult gay men. From the end of 2016 I was responsible for BONER as a freelancer, from the beginning of 2018 until the end of 2021 as a permanent employee. Boner was sex-positive and conveyed photography, art, nightlife, politics and health issues in a low-threshold way that didn't have to shy away from comparison with competitors, quite the opposite. It was perhaps the most unusual and probably one of the few commercially successful start-ups in recent years in a very difficult market environment. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the publishing house had to file for insolvency at the end of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
